Chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyps (CRSwNP) is a chronic inflammatory disease affecting 2–4% of the population which has a significant impact on quality of life. Approximately 40% to 60% of people with CRSwNP also have eosinophilic asthma, reflecting the unified airway concept characterised by type 2 inflammation driven by interleukin (IL)-4, IL-5 and IL-13.
